Sept. 22, 2025 President Trump signed an executive order on Monday targeting the left-wing antifascist movement, known as antifa, threatening "investigatory and prosecutorial action" against those who financially support it. But Mr. Trump's order said that he was declaring antifa a "domestic terrorist organization" - a designation that does not actually exist under U.S. law. Anti-fascism, like fascism itself, is a broad political ideology rather than a specific organization, and the U.S. does not have a domestic terrorism law.

People still discussing elections and laws. They are in denial about it being too late for that. They can’t pinpoint a moment when america became a fascist country. How about using September 22nd, 2025? That was the day MAGA fascists declared antifascism to be domestic terrorism. Seems unambiguous.

The way ICE officers approached the vehicle involved in today's shooting was counter to their training, a senior Department of Homeland Security official told NBC News. The official said ICE officers are trained: — never to approach a vehicle from the front; — to approach vehicles or possibly armed people in a “tactical L” 90-degree angle to prevent injury or cross-fire; — not to shoot at a moving vehicle; — only to use force if there is an immediate risk of serious injury or death. ICE officers are also instructed that firing at a vehicle will not make it stop moving in the direction of the officer.

This seems significant: not a FORMER DHS official, but a SENIOR (current) one saying the officer who fired acted counter to training.

This is not an admin that admits mistakes. And they are hanging this guy out to dry on Day One.

I think they know this is bad. Really bad.

The Minnesota woman who died today was apparently a mother. Someone close to the family and who has access to a lawyer should help set up GoFundMe. IMO, the money should go directly into a trust, which should go directly to the child when they are 18 years old, not an intermediary family member.

And she was gunned down in cold blood and broad daylight by Trump’s ICE agents.

I know it's not mainstream conventional wisdom but I think "Abolish ICE" is a perfectly reasonable response to this and you can get the public to buy in. Most people don't want masked murderous thugs roving their streets

The “prosecute the former regime at every level” candidate has my vote in 2028.

The sheer number of videos of the shooting is horrific, but in the vein of what @prisonculture.bsky.social has been saying, it proves how many people cared enough to show up where ICE was and record them. It wasn't just one or two legal observers, and when Good was shot, they didn't abandon her.

There are only three possible outcomes for undocumented immigrants in this country: mass deportation, amnesty, or legal limbo (i.e., status quo for last 40 years). The first causes violence in communities and harassment of citizens. The third quietly ruins people's lives, as opportunities pass them.
