For 15+ years, I’ve taught in place- and project-based schools in Wisconsin, and I currently serve as lead teacher at Koshkonong Trails School, a small, public charter with an environmental and agricultural focus for middle and high school students.

Aside from the obvious direct harm, what's so irritating is that a handful of spoiled ignorant assholes are breaking things that we all built together. They weren't content to own almost everything, they had to wreck what little they didn't own. It's vandalism on a mass scale and has to be punished

What Trump won't mention today amidst education spending and rankings is that the United States has child poverty rates 2-4x that of our peers. Our child poverty rate looks more like Spain, Bulgaria, & Chile than Denmark, Finland, and Norway.

I mean, it’s very clear that there are no rules against rewriting history any more. I vote you retroactively change the name.

imo the left really needs to put a lot more effort into organizing veterans, especially now. they aren’t a political monolith, and a lot of them are getting screwed over right now.

I do believe we’re facing a generational problem. We have Dems who’ve been in office so long that they think their job is just to get elected in the next cycle and not to govern and wield power. They worry too much about what Rs might weaponize and as a result they refuse to fight.

Each and every god damned spineless one of them.

I kinda think a Dem voting for *anything* on the GOP agenda—a Trump nominee, Al Green censure, anything—functions basically as an endorsement of the ongoing destruction of government. Republicans are the people who can stop him, and they're just fully on board with a coup. You can't join their side!

Once these Let Billions Suffer voters see how gruesome letting billions suffer gets they will surely come crawling back to the Let Millions Suffer party and we’ll finally be able to win elections without catering to those troublesome Nobody Should Suffer radicals
