My mood hit horrifically low today. Happens me maybe once a year. Had to put my headphones on and pretend I wasn't in the office. Aware I can barely talk to people. It's like I need to recharge & avoid talking to people for a couple of days! I know I need to sit with the low & it will recalibrate!

I'd never cope with gym early 🤣 My alarm is set for 4.15, up at 5/5.10. Everything is packed (stay in Kildare Mondays), food etc all ready in the fridge to pop over to cooler bag! Leave at 5.30am and should be at my desk at 7.30! Thank god it's only Mondays 🤣

On Sundays, I pack and head into bed around 7pm, early to bed and up in the car by 5.30am. Tonight I 'extra' don't mind an early night as I get to read another chapter or two of this!

Sounds like the perfect evening! I'll be in bed between 7 and 8, have to leave by 5.30am Mondays!

Ah! That makes sense to pop to Drogheda from Bettystown! Not as much sense for kids seeing a skull 🤣🤣🤣

Oh yeah we would have done Clara Lara and Glendalough too! That's why Oliver Plunkets head was so weird 🤣. There was another time, not summer project but a local priest retired to a retired priests home (?). The next summer we all got a coach to visit him, with our packed lunches 🤣

As kids our summer project ran a day trip and we all went on buses to Drogheda to see Oliver Plunkets head! Considering other day trips were Mosney or Bettystown, the Drogheda has stayed in my head 🤣

It is! Meeting friends has such a mental benefit, but there's the cost of the exhaustion and probably an increase in pain too!

I know it impacted me, especially after I broke my wrist. I constantly worried about it and I think that worry added to my inability to balance myself.

Leaves are the worst! I used to have that fear, too. I did some balance work with a physio, which did help me. Falls are so scary, and they stay with you!!

Absolutely! Is it going to happen so much more now with AI to tamper with evidence?

Minorstones: Why we need to celebrate the little wins These moments might not make headlines, but if they matter to us and make our lives feel a little more manageable, isn't that celebration worth it?

✨ We often wait for BIG milestones to feel proud — but life is made up of all the small wins too. From finishing that to-do list to simply getting through a tough day, every little step forward matters. www.rte.ie/lifestyle/li... #Speirgorm
