That shift occurs to the picturesque art world, to the point that, not only they disrespect beautiful arts, they disrespect artists by copying, stealing and underpaying them in inhumane way. And so we reach today when a platform actively leans for free someone's arts to sell its ugly copies. Scum.

The (Western) modern world denies the unseen and even the existence of God Himself. They think human is the master of the world that decides what is beautiful and what is ugly. Ironically this results producing hideous, if not filthy. Compare music in the 90s & in the 2010s. You'll find a shift.

Human being, recollecting their meeting with God, The Ultimate Beauty, seek and produce beauty in order to get "closer" The Beauty. If you see arts throughout time, most if not all masterpieces have link to acts of worship & reverence towards deities they believe. The modern world, however, differs.
