KLM let us board the first half of our flight home (Tromso-NYC) but somehow managed to sell our seats from Amsterdam-NYC. How does an airline oversell a seat so badly they kick us off half way home? At least we got hotel rooms but wow.

I really do not want to return to the U.S. I have been traveling since Election Day and too busy to think about what happened that day. I guess I'll try to remain this busy until 2028.

We've had a great time in Dublin! The fabulous @eclecticacademic.bsky.social was in town so we had lunch together. Today we toured Trinity College Dublin. The Book of Kells was absolutely stunning—a breathtaking masterpiece of art and history.

It depends on how much fine you spent curating your friends list. I cut the blood family out personally. But yeah, I love it over there. I live all over the world and it allows me to stay in touch with people. Obv wish it had a did owner but there aren't any great tech company owners.

Plenty of us have been only using Facebook since Muskrat bought Twitter and many of us just didn't ever post much on Twitter because the algorithm.

I work in the industry and I suspect the future of retail is delivery. California and Colorado have nice stores, but newer legal states mostly have MSO apple vibe stores. I don't think the retail model survives. Consumption lounges and delivery, if new admin allows us to keep it at all.
