Things I’ve said to my cats this week 🐱

“You know you are not supposed to be on the stove, get down!”
“No you are not getting food right now, I literally fed you 10 Minutes ago”
“Hey don’t bite your brother on the butt”
“Get out of my mouth!”

Only allowing people with good energy around me now. My peace is too important to waste on people who just want to bring me down. No more! 💪❤️‍🩹🫂

What medication you do or do not take is no one’s business except yours and your medical care team. That’s it. No one else should get to have an opinion or any say in it and I don’t know why this needs to be said in 2025.

Thank you! Yeah I’ve been dealing with a really really bad cough since I had Covid in September, I thought it was just a lingering cough until I had to go to the hospital. I’m finally doing better though now that I’m on the right medication.

I’m just so sleepy!

He was on Advair. This is the inhaler I just fought with my insurance for because they denied it. I was only just diagnosed with severe asthma a couple weeks ago when I was literally hospitalized for an asthma attack. It was mild before but Covid literally changed my lungs and now it’s severe!

Being unable to do things is really crushing now. For my disabled or chronic illness friends, How do you make yourself be kind to you when you feel worthless on bad days with your illness? I washed 5 dishes and made myself lunch. That’s all I’ve been able to do today and my brain is being mean.

Haven’t been able to get my new inhaler and now can’t until Monday so guess who can’t leave the house this weekend? I hate insurance. Why do they get to deny things that are literally life saving and prescribed by an ER pulmonologist?

Yeah $500 for one and $200 for the other! Even goodrx is $420!

I’m in California too, this is the first time I’ve had any issues with my insurance and they just decided both the new inhalers aren’t something they would cover. I don’t know why, it was literally prescribed by an ER pulmonologist. My GP tomorrow can take care of it though.

Well I spent all yesterday in the hospital. My once mild asthma is now very severe. Covid changed my lungs the ER doctor said. And insurance companies are evil and are refusing to cover my new inhalers so now I have to sort this out tomorrow with my new GP. Yay.
