Aidan Hart is not getting a divorce. And he’s not fleeing town to avoid getting served papers. He’s just going to leave for a bit, make Luke miss him, figure out why everyone, from his husband to his parents, keeps abandoning him. He’s not going to get distracted by a flirty bellhop with webbed fingers and cute socks, or by the fact the place is 100% haunted. And Rian "Marin", a selkie, is not going to be working at Afton’s Bed and Breakfast for Folk and Folklore for much longer. After five years of begging Afton to give his skin back, it is time to move on. He will never return to the ocean, but he could be happy. He just needs to assimilate into the human world. Which is going smoothly until he finds a finger in Afton’s room, and someone who sure acts like a human checks in to the bed and breakfast. Someone who keeps reminding Rian he’s married, despite no husband or ring being in sight. Someone who Afton says is a great match for Rian. The harder Rian tries to get away from Afton, and the closer he gets to Aidan, the more sinister his employer’s plans seem, and the less likely it seems there will be a human world to assimilate to.

Oooo so exciting! I try to up my exfoliating and lotioning game prior to a tattoo.

Other than that, I always bring a snack, usually trail mix. I find it has the perfect mix of sugar, fat, and protein.

"The Thursday Murder Club" is sitting on my TBR shelf and Lanyon's books look interesting. :)

I spend several drafts just figuring out how I want the plot to go.

And then several more cinching it in.

Maybe I'll try outlining my next project, instead of letting the stars and vibes decide my character's fates.
