We had so much fun at our first event at Pet Food Express in Fremont! The staff are always kind and welcoming, and the shoppers who came into the store were intrigued and delighted by our outreach birds! Cooper, Swan, Scunchie and Chickadee are all adoptable!

It was pouring rain in Alameda and this cute feral had found himself the perfect cozy dry spot. I could hear him mooing from across the parking lot!

Lora writes: Remi was found at 10 days old...Her upper beak was damaged & fell off the next day…I contacted Palomacy & was told about Fleetwood, a pigeon with the same injury… Remi & her mate raised feral babies that were brought to me…I could release them as they weren’t tamed due to her care.”

King pigeons have hard, short lives in an overlooked corner of animal ag. They’re raised for food, & rarely survive to adulthood. These two not only survived, but they were rescued & have written a beautiful love story for themselves. They are peaceful, easy birds who just want to snuggle.

New kid, Cozy, is full of holes, from the teeth or talons of a hungry predator. Her excellent appetite and extreme cuteness are cause to celebrate, though! Look at those EYELASHES! We love you, Cozy!
