Are there reasons to still use Twitter? Sure there are. I’m not gonna deny that I’ll go over there to post about any potential big-ass project I’m working on in the future, or keep up with specific accounts. But I don’t see a reason to subject myself to all the Grok bullshit or pointless dunking.

From my experience, the only people who still use Twitter are those that really like being miserable and engaging in controversy. Pretty apparent from how snarky this post is.

I don’t care how quiet it is. I can name so many reasons that I prefer posting here.

My point is, it’s easy to make these kinds of mistakes after being conditioned by Undertale and JRPG conventions in general (unless Frisk was also nb and I’m stupid). Deltarune doesn’t explicitly spell this out, only implies it by having Kris being separate from the player.

For sure there are people who are straight up assholes about it, can’t deny that. But to answer your first question: yes, I have. I myself didn’t know Kris was strictly they/them until a few months ago. What tipped me off was Toby Fox’s insistence on using the correct pronouns during a stream. (1/2)

I just can’t in good faith believe people are saying that with malicious intent. If they say “it’s up to player interpretation”, just tell them why that’s not the case. There’s no reason to get mad or blow up on people unless they try to be annoying past that.

Can we take it easy on people who get Kris’s gender wrong please?

Yes they’re nonbinary and it’s not up to interpretation, but I think it’s reasonable to mistakenly believe that Kris *is* an insert for the player. After all, that was the case for Frisk and it’s just a JRPG standard in general.

Oh my god, they redesigned Kenny!

There’s a track in the new Kirby DLC that uses the 8bitcycle preset from Serum. It was such a jumpscare hearing it in-game because I used that exact preset once, in the Paranoia remix 😭

I really wanna make a return to let’s plays just for Silksong, but playing on the couch with my brother sounds like a much more therapeutic experience. Besides, I can always buy the game twice if I wanna do both ^^

Hollow Knight holds a special place in my heart and remains a defining moment in my channel’s history. I wasn’t always proud of my let’s plays, but considering today’s era of YouTube, I know where my preference lies.
