Every Member of Congress needs to understand that the upcoming War Powers Resolution vote will be a defining vote — just like the Iraq War vote that defined a generation of politicians.

But our elected officials won’t understand how significant the vote is unless they hear and feel the outrage now.

At a recent town hall I did in NJ, everyone raised their hands when I asked if they opposed military strikes against Iran.

Let’s be clear: Americans don’t want another endless war in the Middle East. This must come to an end.

Americans don’t want more endless war, but Trump clearly does.

There is no clear objective, let alone legal authority, for this recklessness. Trump is risking the lives of our troops and ignoring the power of Congress for his illegal war with Iran. When he ran on peace, he lied—as he always does.

The President has launched an unlawful regime change war with Iran, putting American troops at risk.

Congress must return now to vote on the bipartisan War Powers Resolution.

Every member of Congress and candidate must take action to uphold the Constitution.
