Reminder from a retired psychiatrist:
'High-functioning' doesn't mean 'not struggling.'
It means you're really good at hiding it.
And hiding it is EXHAUSTING.
If you're high-functioning and barely holding on, that still counts as struggling. You're not 'not sick enough' for help.
