Superman’s Pal Jimmy Olsen 146 (Feb 1972) cover by Jack Kirby with Mike Royer. Royer only inked 2 issues of this title, unlike Kirby’s other Fourth World titles. That’s a shame, because they look fantastic compared to Vinnie Colletta’s inks. #JackKirbyMonth

I’m not really a fan of cannibalism movies but I do like Ivan Rassimov so I probably give this a watch.

New Gods 7 (Mar 1972) cover by Jack Kirby with Mike Royer. Often nominated as one of the greatest comics ever (and who am I to argue?), Kirby himself occasionally chose it as his favorite of all his works. A masterpiece, at any rate.
