It's been a long time since we've seen this much sunshine across New Mexico. The heat is coming with this dry weather too with highs in the 90s and 100s across the state this week. #NMwx

04.08.2025 22:11 โ ๐ 11 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 2 ๐ 0The lightning caused Middle Mesa Fire has quickly grown to 1,115 acres in Rio Arriba County, NM near the Colorado state line. Smoke is impacting air quality in the area this morning. Westerly winds will push the fire eastward today, bringing smoke to areas along the NM/CO state line. #NMFire

06.07.2025 22:33 โ ๐ 48 ๐ 7 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 1It's been a strong start to the monsoon for parts of New Mexico. Some places have already seen over 6" of rain since June 15. Areas in central, southern, & eastern New Mexico are sitting 400%+ above average so far. Northwest New Mexico has seen very little no rain at all yet. #NMwx
