Rust in Peace by Megadeth 2nd relisten: 10/10

Felt like listening againTied with RTL tbh I can’t decide which I like more but album feels more “fun” than RTL. Riffs are all amazing, solos are on point, and Mustaine’s vocals are good this album.

Non-standouts: Tornado of Souls

One of the greatest live albums ever bro this is so peak, what CCM should be

Standouts: Eres Señor Vencedor, Los Enemigos de Jehova, Tomamos Autoridad, Cantaré al Señor por Siempre, Resplandece, Quiero Buscarte Más, “Lléname, Saturame”

Another Wake Up Dead riff! Was able to record from my computer camera instead of my phone and it's all working great I think, not perfect but I just learned it today so I'm lowkey cooking

More emoish than I thought it’d be LOL, a problem I’ve had with some albums is that they start well and kinda fall apart at the end, this album has this problem

Standouts: Depression II, Heaven Bound, Cherry Tree, Do or Die

Slipknot by Slipknot: 9.2/10

I was crazy for the last review, Corey Taylor has some amazing vocals and the music overall is great

Non-standouts: Wait and Bleed, Diluted, Scissors

Scream Bloody Gore by Death: 9/10

Very edgy to the point of over the top comedy at certain parts. Very interested to see Death’s evolution as time goes on, by the final album their sound was completely different

Non-standouts: Sacrificial, Mutilation, Regurgitated Guts

Master of Reality by Black Sabbath: 8.5/10

Really good! Solitude and Into The Void were amazing, and Orchid was amazing. I also enjoyed the interlude Embryo!

Standouts: Sweet Leaf, Embryo, Orchid, Lord of This World, Solitude, Into The Void

Paranoid by Black Sabbath: 10/10

They didn't miss, less than a year later and they just drop more peak. Bill is cooking on War Pigs and Rat Salad, two of my personal favorite parts of the album.

Non-Standout: Hand of Doom

RIP Ozzie, one of the greatest to ever do it

Black Sabbath by Black Sabbath: 10/10

This some peak, Ozzy's vocals are unironically scary, Bill is cooking on drums, Geezer going crazy on the bass, and Tony's solos are immaculate. The entire album is just mad clean, and they recorded it in 12 hours!

Non-Standouts: The Wizard

The New Sound by Geordie Greep: 6/10

It’s ok, not bad at all! But there’s something that’s not connecting for me

Standouts: Terra, “Holy, Holy”, Through a War, Bongo Season, As It Waltz

High Priestess by Mel Bryant: 5.5/10

Very bluesy/country, it was alright I think. Guitar tone was something I did enjoy, and the solos were good but not really my style tbh

Alright, it kinda blends together. I hadn’t realized Hero of the Day ended and Bleeding Me has started for example. Also too long, that fact it’s split is crazy
