All that to say! Despite no one expecting a regular posting schedule (except myself i guess lol) I feel like i have to apologize for a small break. But like i said up top, im proud of myself. BBBB is a passion project, and I have the amazing luxury of art being a hobby. Thanks yall for indulging me!

So theres gonna be a bit of a pause for now on posting BBBB. Don't get me wrong, ive already been working in Chapter 3 for awhile now! But its going much more slowly. And while i have a lot of chapters written already, it still has some gaps that I need to fill in, Chapter 4 being a big one.

The biggest reason though is that its the really busy season at work, and I need to remind myself this, but when im working a full time job, now for 6 days a week (temporarily), I really wont have the same time and energy to give this project.

That being said, I've officially caught up to myself lol. This past month or so, for a variety of reasons, I haven't really been working on the comic as much as I ideally would have been. Some reasons out of my control, and some not. Like I said, trying to having a more steady pace, not there yet

One of things I want to work on is my endurance and pacing with a project. I tend to have a very book and bust style work ethic. Its not the most sustainable, but BBBB as whole, ive gotten better about sustained and steady progress. Its how I managed to post 2 pages a week so consistently.

One of my favorite things is seeing another artist grow and improve over the lifetime of their project. That is what I want BBBB, and really anything I work on, to be like. So while I have my crutches I rely on, the goal is eventually to not have to rely on them that much.

BBBB has been (very much on purpose) a low stakes project. That's what the other comic was supposed to be, but you know. Here we are. BBBB is simultaneously meant to push me and expand my artistic ability, but also im leaning on a few crutches to make that sustainable I guess.

So the fact that ive finished 27 pages of a comic is huge for me! The dirty secret of this project though is that im using it to avoid working on a completely different comic lol. Its much more serious in tone, very experimental, and overall the kind of thing I WANT to do, but get intimidated by

I've been really proud of myself lately! I have always struggled to maintain effort on longterm projects. I infamously start these huge ambitious projects and never finish them. I've been trying to have more patience and not judge myself to harshly about it, but its still something i want to work on

I don't really talk on here much (or any social media really) but with just having posted the last pages of BBBB Chapter 2, I kinda feel like rambling. So be warned, this gonna just be a thread of off the cuff what im thinking kinda things.
