Don't care who the band or the diner or the meal is: if I see a pic of a band eating at a diner on tour, I am immediately reminded that touring is some of the most fun you can have

And then I guess sometime eventually after that, I actually bothered checking out their music, in my early 20s after falling in love with Fu Manchu... can't really say honestly

Fast forward to being a teenage suburban punk in the 90s, and Hydra Head started their Black Sabbath split 7" tribute series, which is when I guess I first considered their music? In the form of the Eyehategod / AC split, where AC basically just mocked Black Sabbath (as they were wont to do)

Like a few years later I became familiar with "Spirit Caravan" as the worst song on Pantera's 'Far Beyond Driven'... didn't put it together that this was a cover song either

I have no clear recollection of first hearing Black Sabbath. "War Pigs" I knew from my favorite tape in second grade, Faith No More's 'The Real Thing', but didn't know it was a cover song, or really understand the concept of a cover song

Did anyone do this one yet?
