NEVI EV Charger Tracker - Plug In America States across the country are hard at work building EV chargers through the National Electric Vehicle Infrastructure (NEVI) program.

First these people claimed Biden spent $7.5 billion on 7 chargers and now they are mad that he built around 400. Wait until they realize how many have already been announced or in the planning stages. You can see for yourself here or read this BS article. pluginamerica.org/nevi-funding...

Seems like a lot of chargers already built, in the planning stages, or announced. See them here: pluginamerica.org/nevi-funding...

Failure? Lots of these chargers are open and are still being built. $5 Billion was allocated not $7.5 billion. Also does this hit piece include how many chargers are already in the planning stages? It takes time to work though the local, state, and federal government to build these stations.

I just ran this through Chevys website based on the Hyundai lease deals 12k - $3999 down at signing and got this for the entry level EQEV with 319 miles of range.

Interesting. Who has more EV sales in the US last quarter? GM or Hyundai? Equinox EV or Ioniq 5?

Is that deal a standard range model? If so that’s only 245 miles of range. Equinox offers a lot more range at 319 miles for their entry level model.

Have you done any tests with the new Rivian chargers? Stopped by some new stations in Asheville and they seemed pretty fast. Jumped to 157kw @ 37 percent and stayed above 100kw past 60% before I had to go.

Says who? They are super reliable in cold weather if you charge at home and even for fast chargers if you precondition the battery. Most are AWD or FWD and have a smoother drivetrain than a transmission to allow for less slippage in snow and ice. EVs are ready right now. Why complicate with a hybrid

I’ll continue… as a working class commuter I pay a lot less to charge at home than I did with a gas vehicle. My car is always charged up at home the next morning. EVs are the perfect commuter vehicle. Cheap to operate. Cheap to maintain. No more getting stinky gas on my shoes in the cold.

Hmm… I would argue that they are more practical than gas vehicles for working class commuters. In cold weather you can precondition the vehicle while plugged in to increase cold weather range. You reduce commute times because you don’t need to stop at gas stations anymore. It costs less to operate.

If you don’t think he’s running for a third term you are either blind or stupid or both. Tell me one constitutional guardrail that has stopped him this term. He’s using double speak again. I’ve heard him say he wants it and he’s selling merch. Yes. He wants a third term.

I hear you but Ford doesn’t offer anything but the MachE for a fully electric SUV. GM has a lot more offerings. BTW I have 3 EQEVs in my neighborhood with one of those being the $35k version. 2nd quarter will be interesting with the tariffs.

I suspect this is due to customers having more options with this platform that Ford doesn’t offer. Equinox EV, Blazer EV, Lyriq, Optiq. That totals 22,532. If you throw in the Prologue it’s even more so.

I've seen several posts talking about range and thought I would come up with a chart to visually show the cost savings of an EV with a comparison. The cheapest Equinox is $28,600. The cheapest Equinox EV is $33,600 without the rebate. With the rebate it's $26,100. #equinoxev #evs #electricvehicle

I get where you are going with this but the CEOs of these companies are not actively trying to dismantle the Federal government by firing people without cause and celebrating. I get donations for favors not waging a war on the government.

Man. I couldn’t disagree more. Yes. The Hummer is a massive vehicle but the styling is right on point with what a futuristic Hummer should look like. The Cybertruck? Well, it looks like a 8 yr old kids pinewood derby car.

Inflation was low in 2018, 2019 before the pandemic hit. People had plenty of money after the pandemic which is why used and new cars were hard to find yet EVs still increased in market share where gas vehicles declined. Once people drive one they get it. EVs are just better daily drivers.

I have one. I LOVE the handles and I don’t miss CarPlay at all. I’ve grown to love the Google system instead. The integration with the car is amazing. Until you test drive one hold off on the CarPlay complaints.

Go stick your head next to an exhaust of a gas vehicle for a few minutes then get back to me on which one pollutes more.

Crisis?! That’s a little overblown don’t you think? Most EV owners charge at home.

Very nice. I seriously thought about one on those but I just couldn’t deal with a gas vehicle any longer. I had a Chevy Volt before my Bolt and I loved when it was in EV mode but hated it every time the gas engine kicked on.
