It is a very interesting time for American journalism as in school we are taught that certain institutions have authority and generally trusted as sources, but what happens when the primary sources that lend authority to stories are not publicly trusted by the audiences media serves ?

One of the interesting journalism programs I did was run by @jayrosen.bsky.social the program is structured to respond to journalism industry problems. I wonder what the program looks like now given the current media environment where institutional trust isn’t a given for authority “sources”.
