Not sure if there are any consequences of having a transparent layer instead of a solid color.

Also don't know why this issue happens, but it only happens to me when "Generate Mipmaps" is enabled on the import settings.

If anyone has a better understanding to this, definitely feel free to share~

for that one person out there that'll experience this same issue one day:

if your avatar seems to have strange outlines around certain parts when far away (in my case, a white outline around the nipples), check to see if your texture has a background color layer, and try disabling it.
