Slowly making my way through it; kinda unbelievable how pretty this game is. These areas are all within the same general section of the game, and it has consistently looked that good the whole time so far.

sonic had a rough transition

Playing NH during lockdown was legitimately a huge contributor to my egg cracking (the miracle of being allowed to put your avatar in a dress and thigh-highs) so it really bums me out I can’t revisit that save without wincing whenever the player name comes up. Pouring my energy into those rituals!

Going to be really difficult to live up to moon, but I hope this manages to deliver.

Okay, we DO love Panel de Pon, but you still aren't going to suck me back in until that bastard Tom Nook opens change of name applications on his regressive-ass island...

It's especially frustrating knowing Pocket Camp (which released *before* New Horizons) does let you change your name from the menu whenever. Can't see why another game in the same series shouldn't also allow that.

I'd go as far as saying it's just flawed design to have the player commit to choices made less than an hour into a game designed for people to play for hundreds of hours. When a game is selling itself on allowing the player to freely express themselves, these barriers shouldn't exist.

I'll only go back to New Horizons if you let me get rid of my deadname without restarting from scratch; surely not an unreasonable thing to ask for, right Nintendo...?

When the first screenshots of Jacinthe and Lebanne leaked before launch I was like "wow, nice designs! very pretty! :3"; so clueless about what was coming... Never been so rewarded for investing early

Free Run definitely suggests there's two more unrevealed machines, and we actually did see both... as gummies. They put a lot of emphasis on one during the montage, but the other still managed to sneak into a random clip where they forgot to disable both of them, whoops...

Not sure I’ve ever encountered this many shinies just going through the story! Definitely wasn’t so lucky with Arceus, lol
