Pacific Crest Trail in the morning to start my 6 days, 77 miles of hiking.
I am really really excited. I haven’t ever done something like this before and absolutely not by myself.
Today was awesome! Stayed with @jekkies.bsky.social and @figgystar.dog over night, ate a yummy breakfast (thanks Figgy!) and took a drive out to Julian CA to drop off my Jeep at the end point for my hike.
Now I am off to Old Town San Diego where I am staying for the night before I set out on the

On my way to SoCal to go backpacking for a week!
I have never done a week of backpacking before and absolutely not by myself so I am nervous/excited.

Hooray just started my spring planting.
I planted lots of carrots, sunflowers and decorated the front/backyard with a bunch of California poppies and succulent cuttings.
Summer here we commmmme!
