Plastic packaging reduction bill once again a post-budget priority Environmental advocates are hoping to get the legislation meant to reduce single-use plastics over the finish line after almost accomplishing it last year.

Over 200 advocates gathered at the NY Capitol in support of PRRIA and the Bigger Better Bottle Bill. Thank you to all of the legislators who are choosing to listen to their constituents and not special interests.

Chemical Industry Redoubles Campaign Against New York Waste Bill A national trade group has nearly doubled its spending in Albany since the packaging reduction bill was introduced and taken out attack ads on Democrats…

Last year the American Chemistry Council spent $930,000 lobbying against PRRIA and is on track to spend the same amount this year. Let’s keep special interests out of our grocery aisle and pass PRRIA.
