I've just released a new preview version of the #BurntToast #PowerShell module. If you had tried out the previous preview version, do note that I reversed course on doing a full re-write and so this is much more similar to v0.8.5.

Crouton #2 - You Can't Stop Progress (Bars) April saw the release of the Creators Update for Windows 10 which brought with it a handful of new options for toast notifications.

If you do dive into it, stay away from the preview versions... they were the start of a re-write that I won't be following through on when I come to _actually_ do a v1.

I'm now getting that fulfilment in my current role and so the _need_ to do more outside of work isn't there anymore and so other priorities (like family!) get the focus they deserve instead.

No regrets at all, just an observation I found interesting.

I've done some thinking on this over the last year or so and came to realize that "back when" I did a lot of community work to challenge myself and get fulfillment to technical itches mainly because those itches weren't being scratched at work.

I didn't... looking now!

The more skilled you are at a given task, the less useful you’re likely to find LLMs for said task. It’s not that every LLM detractor has never used a LLM before, it’s more likely you’re just bad enough that the LLM seems good in comparison.
