Don't get me wrong, next.js is impressive. I've enjoyed working with it greatly (especially compared to React Native, which is a fucking nightmare), but it's just existentially scary to become so knowledgeable in a technology that is so dependent on #Vercel, a company that could evaporate tomorrow.
