Sort-of! This is a 2001 Playstation port of a 1993 Sharp X68000 that serves as a half-remake (has some stages) and original game (has many completely new areas), for those who want a challenge! (The PS1 version also has an Arrange Mode which makes the game easier)

Oh yeah, duh, I somehow missed it on the flyer too, of course! I can definitely see it being a bit too easy, but I kinda like its breezy nature though, less frustrating~ That said, getting all the blue lights lit up to go to the bonus stage took me way longer than I thought it would!

(This is definitely one of those posts I make just for me, but hey, you might find it interesting~ Besides, OOParts is a fun word to type out)

I don't think it's a case of the hacked nature of the game changing things either, as the also-hacked SegaSonic Bros. and Head On Channel don't remove the Sega logo.

Nothing solid, but maybe Sega planned to distribute it, changed their minds, and Success decided against going it alone? Interesting!

I got so distracted by Gamest referring to OOParts as FARTS that I missed a big change- Sega's logo was on the title screen at one point! The companies had worked together to distribute Cotton and RyuKyu, so not too unusual, but interesting to see!
