I tried red clover this year and am already regretting it - it’s thriving in the not to cold winter. I’ve done fava beans with success, and would be interested in trying daikon or mustard greens in the future.

I harvested the last of my spray mums last week and ran a small fundraiser for the small community Food Bank at my wife’s high school. We went to Costco and loaded up on requested items - SPAM, beans, soup, canned veggies and fruits, and easy to heat meals.

My talented wife is learning wood working and made me a cedar planter for my strawberries. Today was moving day… except I have too many plants, so now I need a second one. The strawberry bed has been flipped and now has Sugar Snap Peas.
