CapCon '25 was this weekend, and I had a GREAT time. Thanks to @capstone-games.com for hosting such a great event. It was a much-needed getaway from a rough September.

Quite a few games hit the table today. One that stood out was Conservas from @25thcentury.games - a wonderful solo adventure! #boardgames

That’s how I feel usually. I have Origins and Pax U. I’m right in the middle of both of them, geographically. So GenCon is a bit more of a haul. It makes it more difficult to justify.

How exciting!! I wish I was going to GenCon! I'll have to check it out at PAX U.

I’ve only played the standard Wits & Wagers! I forgot there was a Vegas one.

Jealous! Can I sneak over the pond and join?

I think so too. I feel like it’s still so new (ish) compared to platforms like Facebook/Meta/Instagram and X that have been going for decades, as opposed to BlueSky that’s been going for just a couple years.

Also I have Cyber Pet Quest. Cute game and cute art!

My theory is BlueSky is still a growing community and in its baby stage, really, as a social platform. I think people and BlueSky itself are still gaining their footing with where to find things and the algorithm. I doubt your designs suck, just a matter of gaining traction and keep building.

Tomorrow is Game Shop Day, when my friends and I get together (usually once a week) to play some games. On the docket for tomorrow is Bomb Busters and Deep Sea Endeavor. The question, though... which do we play first?! Let me know what you think! #boardgames
