They use to have a great progressive FM station I could get when I went to school in Wheeling WV.

I thought I was tuning in FL at first πŸ˜‚

(that and the 100deg heat)

So happy to see the SR-1 in action by a pro!

I think what this model lacks in terms of lo-fi freq response makes up for it with a rock solid transport.....it's as stable as a D-6

Just for fun, I took my SR-1 and a stereo mic to see Jorma a few yrs ago and was pretty impressed with the results

Oh yeah!

I was also thinking cemetery and/or ghost tour......they use to run them out of Lafittes

Start your day at Cafe DuMonde for coffee and beignets, check out the french market. Magazine St has some great galleries. Lafittes Blacksmith Shop is the oldest standing building in the quarter, and is a great place to grab a beer. Take the trolley up to Audubon Park

I remember the Syracusr Carrier Domne 10-20-84, they were doin the Take a Step Back thing at the beginning of the 2nd set, and Healy started with the delay effects.

He used them on Shakedown St, sounds pretty cool esp on the aud tapes

I had a small one from the 70s with no machine guarding on it at all.

Eventually the bearings gave out and I recycled it

I think Phil and Jerry traded spots in 1982 (Charlettsville?)

As for banter, I don't really recall much other than the take a step back at shows I was at.

Jer at Buckeye Lake 1988- "we just dont let anyone play accordion with us" when Bruce joined them onstage
