A beautiful piece of writing. It made me cry. Maybe a little bit because my son is about to turn 18 in a Europe looking to grow its armies in the face of growing world tensions.

Being one of the original 1999 MSPs, serving (by the time of the election) for 27 years - half my life - and getting to represent the best constituency in Scotland has been an honour beyond words.

She is absolutely right. Renewables are a win-win, and economies that turn their backs on clean energy tech will find themselves falling behind.
