Long story short, they were asking to have us do work "alongside your routine," and then stated they got our phone number through either LinkedIn or Indeed. They also wanted to give us $5 for completing a "demo task."

We asked about their company, and they link us to a website. We did not click the link and don't know if it's a safe one so we are not providing it in TTS. The name of the company is WeVenture. We looked it up (next photo) and to end the conversation, we declined the offer.

An AI summary through Brave says this company is not accredited and there are also multiple companies using the WeVenture name, including "sales" and "travel" and is no longer a registered company, despite some of the leart results for the website showing it's registered in Germany.

Got a message through Telegram last night, where someone was soliciting information to "send money for work" but something didn't sit right. While we've been looking for a better job, it didn't seem legit. We also did not click the link, and instead looked it up. Be careful out there!
