I want to start writing shorter, more frequent blog posts. Long-form takes too much effort and social media's too brief to explore ideas properly. I want something in between - a quick way to explore unfinished ideas.

Should probably just start, right?

Bazzite - The next generation of Linux gaming Bazzite makes gaming and everyday use smoother and simpler across desktop PCs, handhelds, tablets, and home theater PCs.

I've never really warmed up to Windows 11, so I'm glad to report that my gaming PC is now running Bazzite. 😁 Really curious to give this a try over the coming weeks. First results are promising!

Funny how if you ask AI to critique something it just generated, it'll tear it apart about 90% of the time. Zero loyalty to its own ideas. πŸ˜‚

Still can't get over how good voice recognition is in AI chatbots and how bad Siri is in comparison.

Just made a sprint planning meeting notes template. Haven't had to do that in... years? Not sure if that's a good or bad sign.

As someone who's always valued writing detailed issues and user stories before coding, I'm both excited and amused about "spec-driven development" now being a thing.

Almost feels like vindication a decade later...

First week building a company full-time with @martijnarts.com.
After years of remote work, the hardest part might be figuring out cheap, healthy lunches when I'm not at home. πŸ₯ͺ

I would love to get better at making playlists for listening to music. Really feel like this is an area that I haven't explored nearly as much.

5 - Phases of Engineering / RFD / Oxide

I love how @oxide.computer's "Phases of Engineering" explicitly call out scoping, exploration, prototyping, decision making, and development (and more). I've certainly been guilty of mixing them all into one thing and forgetting half in the process. rfd.shared.oxide.computer/rfd/5#rfd113
