A limited run of the new Dust thing "Over Here, Asteroid" in homemade CD format and sent out in the mail. In the streaming age it’s kind of satisfying in an old school stylee.

I’m wondering, what are the benefits of the "embedded features" balanced against the implication that you may need to hand over data in order to use them? 🤔

I’m seeing a lot of AI generated Star Wars/Star Trek slop on YouTube and the amount of tearful praise in the comments ("down with Disney, this is REAL Star Wars!") confirms that all a huge chunk of the audience want are lame member berries. Completely vacuous, but Star Wars-shaped.
