And what sort of *wanker* would sell out the Quakers?
Tbf, there were probably signs up - the Quakers probably thought, "No one would be against people learning to remain calm in a crisis situation."

Thanks to gender critical activists, female athletes are not just having to endure humiliating and violating sex tests - they have to pay for the privilege.

Or just... read their websites & manifestoes. Sheila Jeffreys literally called trans people parasites & rapists.
The lie that 'gender critical' belief is benign makes me so angry.
The London Met appear to be unfairly targeting a religious group for beliefs that are non violent, non harmful and do not infringe on the rights of others.
This is the kind of situation that belief discrimination laws are actually *for*.
Hmmmm. Explains my tendency to lurch into self destructive behaviour when things are going 'too well'.

Currently the law, following the HC judgment says groups CAN exclude trans people but donβt HAVE to.
So any organisation excluding trans people is doing it BECAUSE THEY WANT TO.
The leaders of groups doing that (especially when they are harming children) should be held to account on that basis.
BREAKING: Scottish Labour MP Joani Reid has resigned the Labour Whip after her husband was arrested on suspicion of spying for China.
Story to follow.
Mahmood loves Kristi Noem
A reminder that Mahmood said she was inspired by the architect of the Minneapolis migrant crackdown, DHS Secretary Kristi Noem, who left "a lasting and positive impression on her."

The law at present makes no sense.
Forcing organisations to include TERFs defacto infringes on the rights of LGBTQ people.
You cannot 'balance' the rights of a minority with the aggrieved demands of a hate group who want to eradicate that minority.
At this point, Labour is synonymous with cruelty. And given your failure to stand up for the trans children affected by Labour's monstrous medical & DFE policies, why on earth would we believe you on this one issue?

Where's the fun in that? Why do something productive and constructive when you could ruin something good for other people?
Especially when it might just highlight how unpopular TERFism is.
TERFs are not welcome in @greenparty.org.uk.
They have three other parties that reflect and welcome their hateful, hard right views.
Dear TERFs, being trans is a legally protected characteristic under UK law, as it should be. Please sod off with the miserable inner squalor you live in.
Good luck to @greenparty.org.uk and @zackpolanski.bsky.social dealing with these vapid ghouls.

Given their employment of Simon Wesseley, politically motivated visa revocation, it's suppprt for GC ideology & their willingness to conduct the extremely unethical and anti-trans PATHWAYS trial -
King's College London is looking like it has a wee bit of an agenda.
It's hardly a coincidence that discredited 'experts' Peter Fonagy & Simon Wessely have been appointed to 'investigate' whether neurodivergence is overdiagnosed.
Or that Wessely received a GBE last year.
Yes. I've noticed a pattern of - invariably older - experts being commissioned to produce studies, reports & articles that are very politically convenient to the government.

Labour's Home Office are already deporting children. They tried to deport two children *without their parents* a few months back.

Not to be THAT feminist as well but it really seems like every few months to years people just detect a roadblock of a pretty core material difference between men and women (that most likely being domestic labor) and then pretending it'll go away if we'll all talk about our feelings more

Yep. "How can we talk women out of this."
Do their fair share.
Everything else is just noise.
A similar article highlighted that a good chunk of these men *also* expect women to have successful careers.
I still think the traditional patriarchal bargain is a bad one for women. But it's even worse in this context.
There's another dynamic going on, which no one in the mainstream press I've seen has touched (though @polgreen.bsky.social got closest), and that's the fact that it is unprecedented to ban or heavily restrict a treatment on the basis that the evidence isn't high quality enough.
