The breakout session was inspiring as 7 DPP use case projects from Dutch universities of #appliedsciences were presented! The pitches gave a clear picture of the ambitions of the consortia. Presented use cases cover sectors such as #textiles, #construction, #batteries, and household #appliances.

I had the opportunity to speak in a breakout session on the role of Dutch universities of applied sciences in the field of DPP implementation. These institutes are well connected to SMEs and their applied research is demand-driven: addressing real-life challenges (use cases) of companies.

The event brought together 300+ stakeholders from the Netherlands and Europe, including #DPP service providers, DPP users, researchers, and #policymakers. This diversity in stakeholder involvement is needed to ensure large-scale #adoption of #DPPs. Including "keep it simple" from #SME perspective.

The #circular #transition is in motion and will be further stimulated by digital product passports (DPPs) as indicated during the DPP Festival 2025. It was organised by Centre of Excellence DPP, Centre of Excellence Data Sharing & Cloud, and Topsector ICT, with support from TNO, #Cirpass, and GS1.
