Saying goodbye to my Belgian cousin today over facetime. She doesn't have much time left. She had a brain tumor removed at 12 years old. At almost 50,docs just found 3 more. Yet despite a life of struggles, she's always been loving and kind. I think that's true strength. Being kind despite hardship.

This voice line sounds so bad I legit would not buy the game purely because of it.

Also for $360 a year you could easily afford all those games and more. And that money would be more efficiently sent to the actual developers and studios.

I was in the camp that Gamepass wouldn’t grow that much and would quickly become unfriendly for consumers. People said no way!!! Not gonna happen.

Right so back to my original argument…..that “value” you feel hurts the developers of Outerworlds 2 because instead of spending $70 on their game you spent $30 and they only get a sliver of that.

Which is why Xbox had to double the price of gamepass. It was massively cannibalizing their own sales.

The difference is we know which consoles are selling.

PS5 still selling great.
PC is growing.
Switch 2 selling great.

Xbox’s are not selling well at all. Abysmal console hardware sales.

So it seems like my experience also matches the underlying sales data for what consumers are buying.

Oh so those are exclusives which should convince me to buy an Xbox?

If the platform was healthy the consoles would be selling.

My Xbox has sat unused for almost 3-4 years.

Most of my Xbox friends share the exact same experience.

Costco literally pulled Xbox’s from their stores because they weren’t selling 😂

And it just so happens to coincided with the call of duty launch!

🧐 Must be a strange coincidence because game pass was supposed to be helping CoD Sales.

That was revenue not profit.

And judging from the 100% increase the gamepass ultimate I think there is some very creative accounting going on at Xbox to make Gamepass seem more profitable than it likely is.

They have been cutting costs like crazy, console sales were down 25% and are still falling.

While console sales are awful and the Gamepass subscription cancelation page crashed because so many users were trying to cancel?

It’s clear as day they are struggling but there’s still unfortunately a lot of copium being huffed.

Cmon! The writing is on the wall and has been.

Thriving player base FOR NOW.

I’m confident, just like I was confident that gamepass would rapidly not become consumer friendly, that players will leave Xbox overtime.

I know I did.

I know a lot of teams and developers who have seen great sales on every skew except Xbox.
