The Socialist Republic of Malus is greatly troubled by the fall of Damascus, and hopes to see continuity in any transition between the Syrian government and the rebel groups. We hope civilian rule comes to Syria, and that the Kurds are able to secure their autonomy.

Ukraine - Malus condemns the ongoing war in Ukraine, and desires to see a diplomatic solution to the conflict that involves Ukrainians gaining their pre-2022 territory back, Eastern Ukrainians being given autonomy, and NATO expansionism stopping.

Syria - Malus condemns the terrorist organization, Tahrir al-Sham, and their attempt to topple the Syrian government. International intervention in Syria must come to an end, full-stop. Russia, Turkey, and the United States must cease.

On May 2, 2022, the Confederation of Malus signed an agreement with the Kingdom of Salanda, linking Novum (then a city-state) and Suveste as Sister States. This agreement became defunct due to the Succession Crisis of 2022.
