If you were looking at a newspaper (or its website) this morning and didn't see this iconic photo, it was an intentional choice to pander.

These last few days made me realize just how many things that I remember back then when I was 10 years old in the 1970s is hitting their 50th anniversary. This one is right up there! As much as I love Gal Gadot portrayal of the Amazon princess, they're still only one Wonder Woman!

It was the only hit by singer/songwriter Sammy Johns who said that the song is a collaboration of different experiences and not just about one girl. Regardless, it's still a laid-back and beautiful song.

And so a few weeks ago I was listening to some soft rock radio/70s radio and stumbled on a very good song which I found myself singing along to you after all these years. It's a one hit wonder, but it is a journey that is timeless as humanity.

I keep thinking of songs from the disco era, songs from the '80s, and even today touching on that subject. In the world that expects every relationship to develop into engagement and marriage sometimes the need just to be with somebody without guarantees is as good as any long-term relationship.
