Of course, I could also knit the under section in the darker purple and then the comb and wattle in one of the lighter sections from the striping yarn...

The brighest purple is part of a cake of striping yarn, and I'm not sure if I'm going to have enough left after knitting the under section. I will check my craft room in a bit to see if I have another skein of it hiding somewhere.
