the growing opposition to nsfw in art and writing communities is not only an uncomfortable bellweather for the social climate, but also personally isolating. excising nudity, humanity, desire from art is antithetical to art making. it prioritizes marketability over the marginalized.

It really sucks because you will THINK a sub is actually somewhat NORMAL, and then you finally decide to give your two cents, and you quickly find out that the people there are just as fucking online as the rest. It's so annoying.
