He'll be fine!

The take "romance shouldn't be political" is SO myopic I still can't believe it's a thing (well, I can, but still).

People can say it’s utopian or dreamy but it’s a fact that you have to believe new things are possible, fundamentally, in order to make them real. You have to make the choice to believe that more than this is possible & not be resigned to this being the way things have to be because it’s not at all.

Is it likely to see the light of day? No. It's my first novel, it's the bare minimum length a MG book can be, and I realize how insurmountable the industry can be. But I wrote a book, and if nothing else, it's excellent practice for the dark academia novel I'm tackling next.

I... I think I'm finishing my book today. All of it.

I don't have any published books (hopefully yet), but movie. TV shows are subject to actors wanting to leave, showrunners wanting to stretch out storylines, and overall too many possibilities for the story to go in a different direction than intended.

I did it. I'm done with draft two.

Edited two chapters today. Two more and the epilogue, and I'll be done with draft two. #AmWriting
