Why does King feel the need to get this story into the Sevco-fan mind as a done-deal?
If it all looked like a done-deal, why not let things take their course?

The need for publicity suggests King is trying to create inevitability to make it more difficult for some parties to reject it.

If you have a 4 year contract that can pay you off with just 7 months' wages at any time, you have a 7 month contract not 4 years.

Of all the journalists talking up an American takeover has a single one talked to anyone on the buy-side?

Despite a Scottish judge signing search warrants for legal offices (not standard practice), it's apparently unthinkable that a Rangers-supporting judge in Scotland could be corrupt.
