It's high praise from me! One of my all-timers. If you think it could be for you, I'd give it another shot when you have time/headspace. It has its faults but it's a masterclass in its strengths. Also the art direction is indeed awesome and nuts

god i'd love to see Mistborn be adapted to animation.

It'd probably do well in an anime aesthetic (WIT or Studio Bind come to mind, maybe Science Saru) but I can also imagine it doing really well in a western 3d or 2d, a la Arcane's Fortiche or the folks behind Vox Machina
