I read it, and it was extremely tough to get through. I just wanted to hear, in her own words, the atrocities that were inflicted upon her by that monster. I’m glad that I did and I am that much more empathetic towards the experience, endured and suffered by all survivors.

This is the way it's supposed to be but from the actions and behavior of the DOJ and Republican Congress, we're not even close. Women survivors who were raped and sexually assaulted, as underage girls, didn't even warrant a mention at the so-called State of the Union address, on Tuesday. Terrifying.
