For their first project, my Kids and Society students have to create an infographic clarifying a common misconception about "kids these days." I'd prefer that they not use AI to create their projects, so I made my own infographic explaining why : )

Might just be a function of where my own brain is at in terms of my training! Looking at some of the other answers, I only really think about Aristotle or the Old Oligarch when I'm forced to ... 😬

Yes! I find that the AI problems come in my classes with more “traditional” grades versus ones with labor-based or specs grading, which I think is indicative in and of itself …

I've had students use it in ways I didn't expect in language classes, like summarizing videos so they don't watch the whole thing (and thus don't understand the vid's point) and generating what was meant to be subjective responses to readings (e.g., "what's the most important thing you learned?")
