bewitch couldve happened in dreams from Trina, but i dont think theres any record of that happening. all bewitchment seems to occur in person, as with all the DLC NPCs. either way, i hope its clear Miq isnt somehow responsible for all of Mohgs crimes. this is long. ill get into the rest later. 15/15

i dont think Miq bewitched him to kidnap them. Mohg really was that incest pedophile we all knew all along. reason being, when would they have ever met otherwise? the lands between reviles the bloody fingers. would want to be revived after losing the duel w/ Malenia to become consort. makes sense. the guy's obsessed with war. i think there is DLC plot incongruence in that the consort was meant to be Godwyn but, for whatever reason, this was scrapped. but for another time. back to Mohg, Lord of Blood 13/x

whether or not Radahn wanted to be consort, Miquella couldve bewitched him if they were bewitching everyone under the erdtree as assumed. Miq allegedly did it to Malenia, why not Radahn too? occams razor, Miq didn't. not to mention Freyja, one of Radahn's closest generals thought Radahn 12/x

same with Ranni, Fia, etc. theres a tendency to assume female and feminine characters are stupid & evil, but male characters are based and cool. and this is present in Miquella/Radahn. people accuse Miq of bewitching everyone under the sun, but why not Radahn? why the duel for consort? 11/x

people were already primed to worship masculine male characters since before the dlc. Malenia vs Radahn? canon tie, but fans'll say the "evil bitch" lost and had to nuke Caelid. Marika/Godfrey, same crimes. but Marika is genocidal villain and Godfrey the strength chad who compliments you. 10/x

Radahn, people's beloved chad warrior. people act like Marika/Godfrey's atrocities were evil then ignore Radahn like he wasnt trying to emulate Godfrey in every way. he even does his hair the same. but no, our heroic chad is a honorable warrior who got screwed by the Evil Twins unto death 9/x

Mohg has been kidnapping and blood-addling people way before he ever met Miquella, but somehow people wanna pin that on Miq too. the whole "beat the allegations" thing is funny, but i think people actually believe it. liking villain characters is fine, but dont pretend they arent villains 8/x

Ansbach is that wise older male figure who showers PC in praise, have noble speech, and a "avenge my lord" quest. and people ate it up. no matter how many times Ansbach compliments you, he's still part of the kidnapper blood cult. which has been going since Mohg was dropped in a sewer. 7/x

Mohg. the og blood worshipping cult leader kidnapper pedophile himself. its like people forgot... everything going on there, just because Miquella has entrancing powers, but more importantly the best PR manager ive ever seen: Ansbach. im surprised he doesnt have bewitch powers from fan treatment 6/x

further, we dont know how being afflicted by an Outer God (Rot) affects whether someone can be a consort. maybe Miquella would've chosen their sister, but it required successful Outer God warding. even if not, Shadow Lands requires death to enter. i dont blame Miq for not wanting Malenia to die 5/x

but that doesnt make any sense. the twins were always close and Miquella was always trying to help with Malenia's rot. the golden sewing needle, the prosthetics. wards against an Outer God itself. there are easier ways to get a bewitched knight if thats all she ever was.... 4/x

that's where the similarities end. its generally taken for granted that since Miquella developed the ability to compel affection, that they MUST have used it on every single person in their life. Malenia, Mohg, Radahn, everyone bewitched the whole time. then once no longer useful, tossed aside 3/x

before DLC release, Griffith parallels were easy to see. From Soft already makes a habit out of that. we have a cute, androgynous leader who wants to make their own kingdom and make the world a better place. they're tragically kidnapped and tortured. the cocoon implying a terrible transformation 2/x

i have things to say about the Elden Ring DLC, Miquella, and community reaction to the story. namely that the ER community at large is bad at understanding stories. people desperately want Miquella to be Griffith for "the berserk reference." but thats just not the case 1/x

it reminds me of elements of the Mr. Robot series actually. traumagenic psyche fragmenting. but outside of that personal theme, the show is a little simplistic with its story and characters. overuse of its leitmotif (which would be a worse crime if it wasn't decent). overall an ok thriller so far
