Last night, Trump signed legislation to end the gov't shutdown.
The shutdown is over. The cruelty continues.
Health care tax credits will expire at the end of this year, more than 4 million people will lose their health insurance. People will suffer. People will die.
Tomorrow, on Nov. 1, SNAP will run out of funds for the first time in the program's history, leaving 42 MILLION people without this critical assistance.

But tomorrow, Nov. 1, SNAP will run out of funding for the first time in the program's history. This will mean 42 million people will lose access to this essential program.
Congress must act now to stop it.
El Fasherβthe last government-held city in Darfur, Sudanβhas fallen. Civilians face mass violence, starvation, and displacement.
We stand in solidarity with the people of Sudan, who resist genocide for a just, peaceful future.
We must act now.
Join us and demand an immediate end to all military actions in the region. The U.S. must respect Venezuelaβs sovereignty and pursue diplomatic solutions, not war.
28.10.2025 18:59 β π 8 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0The United States is murdering people at sea.
The Trump admin. has killed at least 57 people in attacks on boats in the Caribbean and the Pacific. Now they are pushing the U.S. toward war with Venezuela.
Congress must stop the killing and hold the administration accountable.
Yesterday, the U.S. blew up a boat off Colombia's coast. Since Sept., the Trump admin. has conducted strikes on at least eight boats, killing at least 34 people. The U.S. has committed state-sanctioned murder.
Demand Congress stop these illegal strikes.
This Saturday, millions of people will once again mobilize for #NoKings protests across the country.
AFSC endorses this nonviolent day of action to stand up for democracy and reject authoritarianism. We hope you can join us.

We urge the United States to reverse this decision.
