Another thing is that it isn't readily available to *everyone*. Writing from a civilian perspective, or someone who doesn't join the Korps and immediately waltzes into EE, for example, are other ways you could write this into the setting. Scrambled Wings by Arch and Jonie is a good example of that

I see a lot of people saying the art direction is bad but I disagree, meanwhile, the game itself doesn't seem to work and the gameplay is very dysfunctional. It feels like they stuck a bunch of things they liked together but didn't think about how they'd work.
