Echo is home, thank God. I called the animal hospital to see how she was and they said "and who are you...?" I said "Echo's grandmother" and they were like "ok, cool. She went home this morning with her dad".
So relieved she's home and Ok.

I'm from Philly (I live in Dumbfukistan, Alabama now) and for years my friends & family in South Jersey have complained about black bears terrorizing them. My ex BIL took his kids to the school bus stop & waited with them, armed with a Barnett Crossbow.
I'm surprised this doesn't happen more often.

My niece has dual citizenship in the UK and US. My SIL & brother live in Kent, my niece in Tennessee. We're hoping she moves back home to Kent.

She just came out of surgery, no perforations but they had been in there long enough to cause infection. She's going to stay in until Thursday so they can give her IV antibiotics. I'm so relieved she's going to be ok.

My grandfurbaby is in surgery. She ate a corn cob and it hadn't passed thru her so they needed to remove the pieces surgically.
My poor peanut. And my poor daughter. She's a wreck.
