Is there an update on this? I saw this last week and I've been wondering if there are any developments.

strongly agree with this. Ice is coming to your community soon. There are lots of people where you live that also need support. Also donate to Immigrant free legal services networks, remember immigrants are the most targeted right now.

And if we wanted to pretend this was about saving lives, air pollution is estimated to kill over 100,000 people a year... You'd get much more bang for your buck enforcing that than detaining & deporting immigrants who are less likely to commit crimes than citizens.)

But with guns drawn, & arresting you, often violently.

Now imagine supporters shrugging and saying, stop overreacting. If you didn't want to be arrested you shouldn't have underreported your cash income, etc. They’re just enforcing the law. And if you're not guilty they'll release you, eventually.

Imagine if the full force of the federal government was applied to laws that are routinely violated: copyright infringement, tax fraud, labor & wage violations, environmental rules, etc.

Imagine federal agents snatching you at the grocery store or breaking down your door (no warrant)...

Yeah I find it a bit subtle. But cognitively it also helps me a little.

It's sweet to see ppl wanting to send hand warmers etc. to protesters in MN, but I wonder how big of a need that actually is? I'd like to see more focus on donating to the most impacted: immigrant communities. Support free immigrant legal defense, food banks delivering to immigrant families...

Yes indeed, and that those highlighting their deaths also use it as an opportunity to remind folks of the many many other people, primarily immigrants and people of color, also killed by ice!

Listen, I've got some pretty harsh tinnitus that's sensitive af to high pitched noise. I'm on team Whistles. My discomfort will be temporary. Someone being murdered by ICE on the other hand is forever.

Following the Kent State massacre in May 1970, a Gallup poll showed that 58% of Americans thought the shootings were justified. The night *before* the killings, Ohio's GOP governor described the student protesters this way: "They're the worst type of people that we harbor in America."

I mean, often anybody who talks about Injustices that other people want to ignore is perceived as annoying. It "ruins their vibe" of being happily oblivious to the suffering of others... Cuz being made aware usually means confronting your complicity at doing nothing.

So, in the case of C19, the hybrid immunity or concomitant immunity is giving only partial protection to similar past strains… at a price that is very high in terms of damage to the individual and society.

I do love the sentiment but sometimes focusing solely on these two people, white allies, versus all of the immigrants who have also been murdered by ice, is hard to see.

Both my kids graduate this year, one from preschool and one from 5th grade and I won't be able to be there. Sending you so much love, such a cruel disease.

Some people find magnesium citrate effective for inducing diarrhea, or certain other forms of magnesium.

Even if I could have only one of these 3 things, my quality of life would be so much better. Of course, most of all I just want to be with my children again. Then food. Then everything else.

Even if I could just have 1 day a week where I could have a break. but there are no breaks in this illness.

2) not being able to eat food and relying on tpn, being hungry most of the time and malnourished. I used to be a foodie, now I eat nothing.

3) the empty days:i can't read,watch shows, listen to audio or use my phone more than a few mins every few days w/out suffering.

For me, the hardest things abt being very severe are: 1) the isolation, only being able to have minimal interaxn w/ caregivers. Most of all missing my children(they were 2 and 8 when i got sick, they are 5 and 11 now). I've spent as much time with them in the last 2 yrs as I used to in a single day.

I have thus far not figured out how to balance physical and mental health while very severe. Any small thing I do for my mental health destroys my physical health which in turn destroys my mental health. It feels like a trap. I need help, but it seems nothing and no one can help.

I haven't been well because of severe #mecfs from #longcovid, Lyme disease and mold. That means I can't be online more than every week or two, or sometimes every month. But I hear this is where all the cool kids are hanging out, away from evil Elon.
