I'm not a native english speaker and i would like to know if a person' pronouns are they/them, should i use the form "is"

Because I've learned that they/them was originally for plural, then you should use the form are if talking about 2 or more people, but im talking about-

now it's in their home

When i say it didn't worked i mean nobody cared about the account

There's certain oc i can't imagine doi g kink stuff, but there's others i can, sometimes it just flows.

I've tried a non kink account before, not much success, i had exclusive characters for that account and i didn't wanted to bring them here, but seeing that it didn't worked i couldn't resist the urge of making fetish stuff with those characters, I'm thinking seriously about showing that here.
